salām shāgerdāné aziz, You finished! Six weeks. Whatever else was happening in your life, you showed up and you learned Persian. I'm proud of you. First, your wrap-up roadmap: → Now through Monday, August 24: Finish your assignments, mark them complete, and submit the completion form → Certificate of Completion form → 📋 Every requirement, link, and step is in one place - the Bootcamp Complete - Final Steps lesson at the end of your course: Complete Beginner · Not-So-Beginner/Advanced → Monday, August 24 at 12:00 PM CDT: Bootcamp Closing Ceremony 🎉 - certificates, celebration, and a look at what's ahead. Register here → Questions? Email Monelli at monelli@chaiandconversation.com or message her on Circle → And then: our interim season begins - live classes continue at a relaxed pace, we start Attar's Parable of the Moth together (every level!), and it all carries you into the Fall Bootcamp starting September 28. More detailed info on interim coming soon! Now - I want to be completely transparent about the membership side, because you signed up with a free trial, and when your trial ends, your membership continues at $35/month for All Access LIVE. (You can see your exact trial end date on your account page.) I never want anyone to be surprised by a charge. So here are your three options - all of them honest, and one of them costs you nothing: Option 1 — Keep going (what I'd recommend) Do nothing, and your membership simply continues at $35/month for All Access LIVE - which now includes the whole interim season: the live classes, the Parable of the Moth series, and the entire Fall Bootcamp. The momentum you've built these six weeks keeps rolling. And you wouldn't be alone: more than half of bootcamp students choose to stay when their six weeks end. Starting is the hardest part - and you've already done that. Don't stop, not now darling! (And in December, our once-a-year Persian Foundations enrollment opens - members hear first.) Option 2 — Keep learning, lighter If the live sessions aren't realistic for your life right now, you can downgrade to the Basic plan - the full Speak Persian course, self-paced, at $12/month. No live features, no bootcamps, just steady lessons on your own schedule. Option 3 — Wrap up here, pay nothing If now isn't the right time, cancel before your trial ends and you won't be charged anything. You'll still finish your assignments, still get your certificate, still celebrate with us on August 24. You did the bootcamp - that was the point. One thing to know as you decide: your free trial was your one-time welcome to Chai and Conversation - the bootcamp was part of it. So if you join us for a future bootcamp (and I hope you do!), it will be as a paying member. The door is always open when life makes room for Persian again. Whatever you choose, choose it on purpose - that's all we ask. Check your trial date, pick your path, and know that whichever one it is, I'm so glad you spent this summer with us. See you at the ceremony. 🍵 ghorbāné shomā, |

salām shāgerdāné aziz (hello dear students), I know this year's nowruz feels different for many of us. What is happening in Iran- what has been happening- touches every family in this community in one way or another. I've thought a lot about whether this is the right moment to send these letters, whether celebrating feels wrong, whether joy is something we're allowed to have right now. And I keep coming back to this: nowruz is not a celebration that depends on circumstances. It is the earth...
