shāgerdāné aziz (dear students), Before anything else, here’s the short version for those of you reading quickly: Quick Summary
If you’d like a little more context, read on. As we head into the final week of the bootcamp, I’ve been hearing from many of you with the same question: What happens after this ends? The most important thing I want you to know is this: the bootcamp is not the end of your Persian learning—it’s the beginning. Starting is the hardest part, and you’ve already done that. You’ve built momentum, familiarity, and a rhythm. The question now isn’t “Should I keep learning Persian?” but “What’s the best way for me to continue?” Here’s how the next few weeks work. Next week is our final week of the bootcamp. After that, you’ll have two additional weeks to finish any remaining assignments, submit your memorized poem, and receive your Certificate of Completion. After that period, our regular live schedule resumes. During the interim, we offer a lighter, more flexible structure—including a Culture series—so you can stay connected and learning at a sustainable pace before the next bootcamp begins on March 23rd. Your Options for Continuing with Chai and Conversation1) Continue with an All Access LIVE membership (most popular choice) If you’d like to keep the structure, accountability, and live practice that helped you get this far, this is the best option. As a thank-you for joining the bootcamp, you’re eligible for a 25% bootcamp-only discount on your membership for as long as you remain a member. To continue, go to your membership checkout page, enter the code bootcampny26-thanks, and complete your membership. Please note: If you're currently in a free trial, you won't be charged until after your trial is over. 2) Switch to a different membership level If you want to keep learning but don’t have time for all the live classes, you can move to an All Access or Basic membership at a lower price. The same 25% discount applies. Simply update your membership here and enter the coupon code bootcampny26-thanks. 3) Cancel your membership A Note from Past Bootcamp Students“I had tried learning Persian for years, but nothing ever stuck. The bootcamp gave me structure and accountability, and continuing afterward is what finally made Persian part of my weekly life. For the first time, I feel confident speaking instead of just wishing I could.” The Nowruz BootcampThe next bootcamp begins on March 23rd, and we’ll be opening sign-ups soon. However you choose to move forward, I’m genuinely proud of the work you’ve done here—and I hope you’ll continue this journey with us. If you have any questions at all, just reply to this email. ghorbāné shomā, P.S. This has been one of the most engaged bootcamp groups we’ve ever had. Truly—well done. I'm so proud of you all. |

salām shāgerdāné aziz (hello dear students), I know this year's nowruz feels different for many of us. What is happening in Iran- what has been happening- touches every family in this community in one way or another. I've thought a lot about whether this is the right moment to send these letters, whether celebrating feels wrong, whether joy is something we're allowed to have right now. And I keep coming back to this: nowruz is not a celebration that depends on circumstances. It is the earth...
shāgerdāné aziz, We now move into week 5 of the bootcamp, as we continue with this somber chapter of Iranian history- hope you are all doing well, and taking care of yourselves. A couple orders of business: First, this week's assignments: Complete beginner here, and not so beginner/advanced here. Live check in will be with me and Vijay today- these have been so fun, I'm going to have a hard time giving them back to our community manager Monelli! You can RSVP and join us here. Next, I really...
